At 798, a military factory turned Beijing SoHo artist community. This was my first visit and I can say that I like it so much as it stands in contrast to the vast majority of Beijing, but its just a little too artsy hipster for me, and I get the sense that in the past few years the place has been more about "show", money, and consumerism than it is about art. The parked Audis, BMWs, and Benzs out front don't help.
